I wonder if they have already determined which cars are going to built and are choosing based on that (in other words, x white/manual, x black/manual, x white/auto, x black/auto... etc for each combo). If that is the case choosing white/manual looks like it was a bad idea.

I'm fairly sure that the Color/Trans is not final. When you get picked, you get to visit the dealer and confirm what you want, and then they will get you the car...

signed up around noon on my lunch break.and yes, it says in the small print your choice is FINAL! the car is built to YOUR specs, hence FIRST 86. you get it before they gon on sale! there arent any others on the lot!
