Yep, only felt rain twice. 300 mile drive home when bought it, and caught in rain at 4th July party.

Switched from a 265/35/18 tire to a 255 because it was rubbing. (H&R Super Sport springs)

First pic is the 265. Other pics are 255.

I got it tinted (30% all around) and received my custom license plate frame. Unfortunately it was storming all day after I got my car back from the tint place so I couldn't take pics. They will come later.

Ordered a set of 17x7.5 Alleggeritas in white. Was really tempted to do 18" speedlines for looks, but I don't think the car will really appreciate the extra weight and grip of 18's and meatier tyres, and 17's were out of stock :\

Still, the Alleggeritas don't look too bad IMHO and are really light (~15lbs) and are apparently pretty sturdy: a lot of people on rennlist say they use them on their 911s for track duty and that they hold up really well.

Excited to see how the car drives on lighter wheels! Should be doing coils and sways in the next week or two as well. Toot!

Did these come with install instructions? Difficult to do? I really like that look.

Shopped hard for a good deal on shipping the STi pink springs from Japan. Maybe @switchlanez has some advice. Apparently they can't be airmailed according to Japanese law. Still looking around...

Also did the LED conversion on the interior map, courtesy, and trunk lights. Very happy with the results.

Hmm japanparts air mailed them to me. I had to pay FedEx a $50 customs fee but that might be because I had multiple large packages that needed to be inspected (STI springs + 4 STI wheels).

Are you talking about the side mirrors? If so, thanks and @Diode Dynamics has a video of how to install them and some helpful info in their now closed group buy thread. I believe there's supposed to be paper instructions too? But we didn't look at them if they were there since the video is sufficient enough.

Lookin sharp, Chano!

What did you use for the studs? I may have to do this on my Mustang and am a little hesitant to take a cutoff wheel to them.

Thanks man. I'll have to give JapanParts a little email or something and see what they can do. I always thought the no-airmail bit was just for coilovers just due to the pressure in them. Maybe there was a miscommunication somewhere along the way. Good to hear airmail worked for you!
