The Z06 is the complete opposite, for going quickly, it needs a nice length of highway to stretch its legs a little. Once you get it going, it just pulls and pulls and never wants to stop. Around town, its still pretty fun, the exhaust is awesome, but you can't exploit its potential. I guess you can say its cramped for city driving.
I know what you mean. I remember a Z06 at this autocross I went to, and I'm pretty sure it went through the entire day without needing second gear.

I'm enjoying RWD, LSD, lightweight, and limited grip too much to say yes right now. Plus, the VIII would just seem too dated for me now, being a decade old car. Although, if I was in your position with a stock IX, I'd probably keep it for a minute. I'd suggest giving it a TBE, MBC, and tune to see how you like it, quite a difference. Another thing, the CT9A Evo's (especially a IX SE), are holding their values very well.

The FR-S has just been more fun for me all around. Much less unwanted attention, and the toss ability is addictive. I've put twice as much mileage on it than I did my Evo's so far, so that says something. I always want to drive this car, and never take the option to drive another car to save on mileage or maintenance.

Good news is, you can't go wrong either way :happy0180:
