If you are talking about people in " Mexico " I think you should know more about break boosting and launching

Not sure. Only heard it on my way to the gym.. I'll check when I leave but I'm sure it's still going to be hot lol.

I also noticed a tiny little black spot on the alternator. Maybe the sc is slightly touching and causing a squeak. I definitely had clearance on this though before I bolted it down bc I filed it like 9 times lol

I have heard a similar noise at high rpm/WOT when shifting

There's no launching in the little mexican town the locals here go to.

For the record, I do not make trips to Mexico.

Yeah, because turbos are perfect in all other regards apart from launching and 'break' boosting makes throttle response irrelevant, in Mexico....

Btw, in Spanish, we spell it 'brake'.

What is everyone seeing as far as oil temps after a few pulls? Also average knock correction per your logs after a few runs?

might be good to also post IAT's after a few pulls to get an idea of heat soak sans intercooler.

IAT's are measured at the MAF so it won't matter. Nameless is working on a MAP sensor plate where a true IAT sensor can be plugged in.

It's nice not having to worry about heat soak! The water meth sys should take good care of that. I hope to confirm this with Nameless plate.

I do want to point out that an A-W intercooler system can heat soak too. Especially in track driving conditions. My mr2 had a beefy A-W system with a front mount heat exchanger and it still heat soaked. I had to bring bags of ice to the track to dump into my reservoir. I was, however running 20 psi of boost.

I trust that whatever innovate comes out with will be track tested though so hopefully no big heat soak issues.

This has been shared but I thought I'd repost:

A little better look at our Innovate Motorsports BRZ/FRS/GT86 Twin Screw Sensor Plate from Nameless Performance. Replaces the MAP sensor plate and adds a Boost Air Temp & Boost Signal Ports, also allowing for 3rd Party MAP Sensors (GM 2 Bar, etc). They gave us just enough real estate to put all this functionality into a 2.5"x1.5"x1" package.

Available pre-loaded with T1 Motorsports Development Low Profile/Mini Linear IAT Sensor, a variety of boost signal fittings and a few different gauge options as well as harness ready MAP Sensors.

More Innovate Motorsports / Sprintex Twin Screw Mods on the way...

Me too. Has anyone talked to them and gotten any release info? I know they are always super busy as they are a small shop.
