At this point i am not in the position to make refunds yet.

Give me 2 weeks to re collect the funds fr manufacturer. Then i can issue refunds for those who wants them.

Or another option is to trade these with the red out depo tom's for just $469 shipped when they become available within the month

So basically balance will only be $170

Just call them "TOM'S-inspired" or "TOM'S-replica" or something like that, since we now know they're not TOM'S.

Hopefully Helix isn't giving you the runaround on this. Would be a shame.

he didnt even have to say that.

Spyders and valentis look similiar.

He could of just said NEW HELIX lights and it would of had a better outcome

Ah, good point. I wasn't sure if they had to give props to TOM'S or if we're okay with just knowing if we're educated about such things. You're right, I'd rather they be a different name. And a lower price since they're knock-offs. I'd gladly pay $300 for these.

If TOM'S is making their own variation of this, though, or rather, their own variation of their own without the red overlay, then I'd rather have those more so for prestige, but otherwise it's not THAT big of a deal to me.

I'm just waiting for final pricing, as I'm sure that's what Helix is trying to determine, hoping that if people have already paid then they could persuade them to stay if the price is right... VERY right.

I don't mind misinformation if it's unintentional. It's the nature of the beast when dealing with international business for an aftermarket car part. I doubt the vendor wanted any of this to happen.

I didn't mind waiting either but he didn't answer my questions on when the preorder will close and when production will start etc.

If we had more information i think i would be a happier camper.

I will be wanting a refund ASAP. I made my preorder under the understanding that I was getting in line for a limited set from TOM's.

Just want this written in this thread.

Production already started. Gb remains open until all units are taken

Im not the type that cares about who made my part.

I can careless whether they came out of depo or helix.

If it is nice and price is right thats all i care about. I wish we had a real picture of one so I can make an informed decision.
