Looks like a great car. Too bad it'll be prohibitively expensive for most of us.

Everything looks great except for the beak grill. Not sure what Honda's obsession is with that look.

Not very distinctive, unlike the original NSX.

By the shape of the car, it still looks mid engined! Very nice indeed. All these years about news of a front engined nsx just didn't sit with me. The Honda HSV or whatever is was prototyped as.

I feel the original had a very unique look to it. Maybe not as extravagant as some other cars in the price range, but you couldn't mistake that butt for anything else.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but it sounded ok I guess. At the price range it's expected to sell at, I was hoping for something more like a Ferrari or Porsche. I always thought the GT-R would be a much sexier car with a proper engine/exhaust note.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I should have said "unlike" the original NSX. It stood out. This car looks like too many other exotics, especially in profile.

I have a feeling they are going to RUIN this car. Keep it simple like the last NSX, lightweight great handling car. I fear they are going in too deep with the electric assist platform and the car will be heavy. I'm sure it will put up good numbers but just update the legacy NSX with a new design. That car is still one of the best road cars to date. My idea would be keep under 3000lbs and bump output to 365-380hp out of a tuned DOHC v6 which Honda should have no problem delivering.

I have a feeling the business model for the new NSX is that it will not generate any profit for Honda (or perhaps even lose money). The only way Honda can justify the R&D cost is by making it hybrid-electric and hope that this technology will one day trickle down to its volume sellers/profit base.

This would be similar to the original NSX, which had fairly advanced technology like VTEC, which eventually made its way to Civics and Accords.

Just my guess though.
