Haven't been keeping up with this thread but, has anyone removed the light up badges yet?

Congrats to all the new Series-10 owners!

I think everyone is going to keep the emblems as they look a lot cooler in person.

I'm going to keep my Scion Rice.....

So I think I got the crickets today. Pulled into a parking spot and thought I heard something so I turned off the radio. Lo and behold chirping sound. I'm not sure I've even hit 200 miles yet.... It didn't make the sound again when I started it back up for my drive home.

93 gas with ethonal. No nearby places with 91+ gas w/o ethonal.

Mush- Is your 10 a MT? You are fairly close to me in the production run (120/2,500). The crickets have chirped on only 2 occasions so far for me. Both times were brief, as in 20 seconds or so. Both occasions were just as I was pulling into my garage and therefore the engine shut off stopped the crickets.

I have only filled up with either Shell 93 or BP 93.

Ever notice how late the Series 10 is in the production model year that everybody assumes it's a 2014 but on the invoice it says 2013?

Why is the Scion tC series 10 a 2014?

What probably adds to the confusion is I think the 10 series tC and iQ are actually 2014 models.

Each of the individual Scion 10 Series cars will also come with its own unique set of modifications. Starting at $19,210 with a manual and $20,160 with an automatic,2013 Scion 10 Series xB will feature a jack knife key and 16” alloy wheels. The 2013 Scion 10 Series xD, priced at $18,155 with a manual transmission and $18,995 for an automatic, will come with a jack knife key, 16” alloy wheels, and a color-tuned interior. The 2014 Scion 10 Series iQ will also feature a jack knife key to go with 16” alloy wheels, and will start at $17,850 with a CVT.

The 2014 Scion 10 Series tC carries over the design of the new 2014 tC, with changes that include a jack knife key, dark finish 18” alloy wheels, and body colored side skirts, with pricing listed at $21,440 for a manual and $22,440 for an automatic. Meanwhile the 2013 Scion 10 Series FR-S, priced at $27,425 with a manual and $28,675 with an automatic, packs in HID headlamps with LED daytime running lights, dual-zone automatic climate control, a smart key with a push start button, and a frameless rear view mirror.

I checked on the door jamb today and mine is a build date of 05/13. Surely I would assume production began in May and not before.

What's are other build dates out there?
