thats not the same at all..the 10 series knob is TACKY IMO (forget all the ricer talk thats just silly i think people overuse that word on this site)

That one's a normal looking shiftknob but lights up the shift gate and M logo.

The scion 10 one is just a blue glowy ricer light on an ugly looking shiftknob

If the 10 series illuminated shiftknob was like that BMW's then that would be worthy of complaining. As it is, i'd be damn happy to not have it. I think that was one of the praises of the Canadian model over the US model, the manual transmission not having that dreadful thing lol.

None of the MT's had the "Solar-powered illuminated shift knob". In the US or Canada

I mostly agree. But not getting something that felt advertised is always a bummer even if it something tiny like a light up toy on your shift knob. It should just be a tiny bummer rather than a big bummer.
