I've got some interesting ideas on making smooth titanium bends, since you can't buy bends and pie cuts suck. Fire (thank you, Dan Gurney!) may be involved if Theory A doesn't work. (Please work, Theory A!)

Also I want to set up a flow testing and porting area. Need vacuums and compressors and benches and stuff...

Titanium bends? O_o

You know, I want to try to modify my stock muffler. Maybe like, cut off the ends of the muffler, replace the middle part with aluminum sheet sandwiching some mineral wool, and change up the baffling. Only thing is, I would have no idea how it sounds until it's done...

Thanks, Ichi.

I actually have a stock overpipe-back FR-S exhaust split between my apartment (catted/resonated front pipe) and my potential future shop (the rest of it). Problem is this place is a ways away, so I won't get much time at it unless I change towns. Plus I'll be limited to working without my buddy, the awesome welder. Hopefully I'll be able to work something out where I fit it up and tack it together and he finishes it on our machine at work. But part of my bending theory is to cut down on how much welding titanium needs for pie cuts when you don't have bends.

Small home shop made titanium bends.

And the guys saying you can't use titanium for headers haven't done their homework.

Someone on WUS published the servicing cost. You'll probably never use $4k worth of service on a watch that only cost less than $1k to make. You can buy another watch (or three) with the money you saved if the first one breaks. There are also much better watches in the $6k range.
