Need some help funding parts and tuning. I'm auctioning off a few items to pay for catted headers, flex fuel kit, and dyno tune. I can't withdraw that much money because my fiance will find out. She won't notice if I sell some stuff though :-). Here is the links.

Basically he's saying that, instead of buying the Unichip device, you could get a custom tune from a talented tuner for a decent price ($650, vs $450). I imagine the custom tune would be more efficient/powerful/etc than a general map based off parts you tell Unichip that you have (which it seems is how the Unichip device works, unless you pay extra). Plus you'd get actual dyno results, and get to hang out with the club

Edit: Also, and correct me if I'm wrong, but the charts that Unichip shows, the torque dip is still definitely there... the torque has been improved along the entire RPM range, but the dip is definitely still there. From what I understand, the FA20Club tune would basically remove that.

I've never had bad luck. You just have to be smart. Come armed, public place, bring a friend. I would scope out the surroundings before showing up. In fact everyone that I met was a collector and knew what they were talking about.

You can also hit up the next gun shows and juat wear a sign with what you have. Sold one of my AR's pretty quick that way.

I drove an FRS in Illinois that had a full PNL exhaust and a 93 octane tune. The torque dip was non existent, but I think with just my exhaust I have a better top end.
