What's the hold up on the tunes ?

Waiting on a tune, as well. If FA20Club didn't suck, I'd already have my header. Hoping John finds some time this weekend or early in the week.

Since i installed my header and I'm still on stage 1. It's been eating up gas. Should I go back to stock?

My issue is that I went to a full exhaust and switched to 1.06 at the same time. I didn’t feel the gains that I was rumored to get and was a bit suspicious. Pheoxs’ dyno information now adds to my suspicion and I’m going back to 1.04 tomorrow for the “feel” test.
Also, based on what I’m seeing, I’ll just stay with 1.04 until I see what his explanation for 1.06 and cutting 2 maps is. I will also not be feeding him datalogs until then.

So I went back to 1.04. The only noticeable difference seemed to be it was much smoother off idle when accelerating and may have felt a bit more powerful but not like 30hp more.
I'd be really interested to hear what John has to say about the changes he made for 1.06. I really don't understand why he thinks we don't deserve detailed change logs when he feeds us a new revision.

I went to FI and dropped mileage significantly as well...even before I touched the exhaust. It may be the tune...or it may be a heavier right foot.

Idk what it could be. But I had the tune for a week. And it was fine then I put the headers on Thursday and since then. The mpg dropped drastically

Did you put a spacer on sensor 2, if not stock map will give you CEL. I ran base tune with header for a month until I got Stg2, its not a problem.
Regarding increase in fuel consumption, something you need to get used to, if you going to mod your car.
I'm up by 2l per 100km due to mods and heavier foot.

The car is moving more air and it's only natural it'll need more gas to go with that air.

On stg2 with ppe headers, I get about 26.2 mpg with mostly city driving. I used to get 28 when stock.
