Are most Scion dealers adding on outrageous extra fees to the price?

Yes, I'd recommend AutoNation Toyota Winter Park and Toyota/Scion of Melbourne.

I asked for pricing via e-mail from several dealers including Lakeland Toyota, Toyota of Winter Haven, AutoNation Toyota Winter Park, Toyota of Orlando (it's by Mall at Milenia, don't bother, they don't give prices via phone/e-mail), Central Florida Toyota, and Toyota of Melbourne. Originally Toyota of Winter Haven gave me the lowest price which I used to bring other dealer's prices down. PM me if you have any questions about how I got them to bring the price down and I can give you more details about what I said in my e-mails, etc. I'd suggest you ignore the dealer's fee and just try to bring the Out the Door price down to what you want it to be because either way, you're going to see the dealer fee listed on the paperwork. The out the door price will include the dealer fee but you can still bring the price to exactly what you want it even with the dealer fee included. Like I said, I could have walked out with the car for $25,677.45 out the door with all fees, taxes, etc. I payed about $1162 on top of that price b/c I got lojack w/ early warning and the Dingshield 1-year coverage.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who got screwed. My dealer bent me over the barrel big time for my 10 series. I was told 'take it or leave it' no less than four times when the car arrived and the dealer made some last minute tweaks to the financials. Not cool.

I feel like I kinda got screwed on the first FR-S that I bought. The second time around I did a much better Job (as you can see in my previous post), not to mention that I got a few freebies
