how's the heat reduction? Thinking of getting my sides done 70-75% and the backs a bit darker but not to dark. Any suggestions on where to get it done?

I park my car in the sun at work, so actually quite a noticeable difference in heat reduction when I got in the car after work today. As much as I'm Hawaii girl at heart, I fricken hate the heat Even when driving yesterday there was a big difference from the sun/heat coming through the front windshield vs. the drivers' side.

I went to Mr. Tint in San Jose at the Kiely location since I live a short walk away. The install took 4 hours and they charged me $250 + tax. Lifetime warranty and pretty awesome job. When I got my car back yesterday there were no bubbles or anything. I'm pretty impressed.

I got all my windows tinted plus a front window six inch strip for 260. I cant really tell about heat reduction even if i got 35%. Idk my body is always hot so maybe thats why.

$140 - all windows + visor strip

$140 for all windows + visor strip @ Best Image in San Mateo, right by railroad tracks. 35% all around, looks darker with the angled curve of the windows. No special promo, just ask for this price when you call/arrive.

Had my last car done by them too (2008) and quality has held up flawlessly through the years.

I called them three days in advance since I was coming on a Saturday morning. They told me to block off 9am-noon but they were done by 1030.

I just had mine done last weekend. I asked them to do it for $140, but he countered with $150 which I agreed to. He said they don't take appointments on Saturdays and work on cars on a first-come-first-serve basis. I brought mine in at 8:30 AM and was the first car there. They finished by 10:15 AM.

Did you know these guys are related. Vince@omega is the younger brother of Jesse@Discovery.

Been to both but prefer Vince. Vince has done all my cars but he is always booked and prices are on the high end. Been looking for another tint guy because I just can't wait, but so far haven't found one.
