Not sure which ones he has, but mine were bought off ebay and are Helix branded. I've had them on and off the car twice for swapping out bulbs with no breaking of clips. I think you would have be pretty forceful to break any clips, at least from my experience. Installation is a breeze once you know what your doing. See the attached vid...

Mine are smoked of course

I had a hell of a time with mine, and that video that BRZ club made did not help me in the slightest. Once i found the right DIY it was a breeze, just make sure that the clips go all the way in ( a bit tricky)

I used this DIY: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15560

On an unrelated note has anyone experienced engine "chirping" or idling issues?

Awesome! Thanks for the link. I've had a rough idle since day 1 as well as the chirping. My idle seems to have gotten more stable over time but I still get the odd dip at a red light to the point where the car almost stalls. The chirping happens quite often but I've pretty much blocked it out now and just got used to it. I don't know if its just my car but this engine sure is noisy at idle, I have a slight knock it seems. Has anyone else noticed this?

Would anyone be interested in a meet for Cruise Weekend August 23-25? It would be nice to meet everyone on here and see every ones car in person! Nothing would look better than a bunch of the twins cruising around 8th street together!

Here is a link to Cruise Weekend.

My idle issue is minor now compared to when the car was new, regardless I still want to get a tune for it and hopefully get rid of it completely.

On the plus side, I ordered clear side markers today

Yes im in! (depends on work of course)

As for chirping and idling, its all factory issues that are supposedly going to be fixed or can be fixed.

I dont know if you guys heard or not, but the mapping of the orignal ecu is incorrect and causing injectors to fail and run lean, causing major engine failure, apparently there is pre- detonation between switching gears. I am kinda scared to put km on mine to be honest i dont want to scratch my cylinder walls

This is the first I've heard of this. I have over 16,000 Kim's on mine and haven't had an issue other than a rough idle which seems to have pretty much gone away. I'm paranoid now!
