Not really, I used mine as a test bed and it was @ 168WHP in SAE CF, so when most of everyone went to STD correction on this forum, I followed suit. That was in late May last year when my car had exactly 18 miles on it. I could use my LOWEST numbers of 158WHP on another car if that's more in line with what you're thinking?

Or would you rather I throw out the "my dyno reads 12-14% lowerthan the next which is 30% higher than a this guy's dyno" excuse? That's a little early morning humor that for you!

I'm waiting on to see what the JDL headers would do here. Intrigued I am.

In the meanwhile, has Vortech found a fix for those wing nuts yet?

I redid the foam gasket tape on the airbox and it's now a snug fit. The nuts don't move anymore. Prior to that, I had a thick black rubberband between the two nuts and that seemed to work as well. Pretty ghetto though.

It sounds fantastic, and is amazing to drive. My only complaint is my friends keep wanting to take it out for test drives...

You just need a UEL headers and you are all set !

And yeah those wings nuts are complete ass, as I was dynoing today, the guy working in the shop with moto mike said something along the lines of fuck u have a nut lose, then when he went to tighten it down it was more along the lines of shitty engineering.

I hate that excuse. Your dyno puts out what it puts out, I just thought most Dynojets had the car in the 160s on a 6MT.

It's the 9 PSI pulley, I was revving that run out to 7700RPM (hence the higher peak boost) to see how much more I could get out of it ~ turns out it didn't matter.

Is there enough thread length to use lock washers beneath the wing nuts? Why not use nylock nuts? Do you really need to remove that access cover often enough to justify wing nuts?

Want to throw me an overlay of that on top of mine? I'm curious of the line comparisons.

Just to follow up on this, we are currently working on a revision for the air box lid fasteners! We're ditching the wing nut & going for something more visually appealing.

Also, I guess I could use this post to introduce myself.

I'm Rick, one of the Engineering Technicians at Vortech. I'll be posting on the board more regularly, so if you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a PM!

I still don't know how you got to 10/11 psi, I over reved my stock pully and got 9.1psi 3.48 = 8.5psi @7400

U doing something special? Something hush hush?
