Perrin catback need help URGENT

Need advice urgently-

I had my Perrin UNRESONATED catback installed and drove it for a few days. No problem at all. No rasp even at WOT, very loud.

Then I had an aftermarket catless FP (not Perrin) installed but figured it was way too raspy and loud for my taste so I took it off and put my stock one back on.
Been driving for about a week plus now and ever since I put the stock front pipe back on, its been so quiet. Even quieter than when I first installed it.
And it became REALLY raspy. After startup, it rasps a lot at around 4k up to redline. After revving it out for a bit the rasp goes away. It never had this problem before when I first got it.

Any advice?

Are you sure it is quieter than it was before? Maybe it just seems that way coming from the catless FP.

Definitely check for an exhaust leak.

There are two ways you can do this

1) Drive the car for a couple days and check to see if carbon leaks(Black stuff).

or..

2) (In cold starts) Turn on the car, spray some water onto the connecting pipes and see if air bubbles leak.

Pour water into a spray bottle
turn on the car
While the exhaust is still cold, spray water into these and check for air bubble.

If you see bubbles or air pressure pushing the water out, that is a clear indication that you have a leak

DANGER: Do not spray while the exhaust is still hot, harmful vapor and smoke will come out due to high temperature.

My guess is you forgot to reinstall the doughnut gasket that gets tossed when installing the Perrin originally.

The original gasket is shaped like a doughnut. When you install the Perrin kit they give you a flat gasket and the old doughnut gasket is not used.

You definetely have an exhaust leak somewhere. Check your gaskets.

For sure check for leaks. If gaskets were re used, they may need to be replaced. The car will sound different when the car is cold, but should mellow out when it's warmed up. Even with the unresonated cat back, it isn't too loud with the factory front pipe installed.
