My '03 BMW 330Ci did the same thing. It's just for the seal, and I never had any problems with it even when I traded it in at 130k mi.

- when you drive towards a building with large windows and you see your reflection while the LED DRLs on your GT86 headlamps are on, and you say to yourself: "dayum!"
- the rubbery hand rest on the door sill for getting out - the padded leather on top of the door panel to rest my arm on during a nice cruise. - how effortless it is to go into 'reverse', much better than having to pull the knob up (Mercedes CL coupe) or down (Audi/VW). - the fact there are two rear seats that don't serve to carry more passengers, instead reduces insurance costs and whose only purpose is to stay folded to provide ample room to carry my snowboard and other gear on long road trips. - high visibility needles on the gauge cluster - the subtle thumbrests on the 10 & 2 positions and small diameter steering wheel. i also like how i don't really have to extend my arms too much compared to other sports cars i've driven. it feels like sitting in an arcarde. - that i have my exterior badges, dash (don't hate), interior dome light to greet me with a nice glow while the base stereo displays the msg "hello gerald" whenever I get in the car. - the rubbery cubby hole next to the push button start that holds a few coins and keeps them from moving/hitting one another. - the factory-rolled rear quarter panels - the hidden key hole for the trunk. it makes the rear end that much cleaner looking. i just have to remove the FR-S badge and I'll be set.
