Any one heard of or used Lyft?
Has anyone heard of or used this service? It is like a taxi service app but at least to my knowledge the fare is more of a donation. I'm thinking of becoming a driver is why I am asking. I plan on using the extra income for car parts...haha

Yea, but that's because I'm from San Francisco and this is where it all started. I think they got sued in some states and have also pondered the idea of becoming a driver.
I sure as hell wouldn't want them sitting in my FRS (if I had one) though. I'd say it's only worth it if you bought a much older car to use for that purpose. Not sure if I'm just really paranoid but I'd be afraid of psychopaths using that app. I mean taxi drivers already deal with alot of BS from unhappy, drunk, crazy, and dead beat passengers. The way the lyft thing works is this. You get paid by the lyft company for providing a ride. It will be a set amount while they keep the change. The customer can then "tip" you however much they think is fair. I guess you could net a hefty profit doing it on Friday and Saturday nights near the bars or clubs. You might even be able to do well on Sundays as well.

I've never heard of this or seen any pink mustaches. Then again, I live in Mississippi.
Sounds like a pretty good idea, though. Then again, sounds like a pretty good way to get dedz.
