It's useless knowledge if you never actually see the conditions in real life.
You don't install a supercharger to have less or equal pull down low. This type of supercharger is designed to make the motor feel bigger.

On my first tune I had less torque than stock sub 3k. I had to downshift more with the supercharger than I did stock. It bogged and felt useless anywhere below 3k. No one wants that in a daily driver.

Interesting. How much did this change with an updated tune? How does it now feel at 1000 to 2000rpm compared to stock?

I'm close to pulling the trigger on the AEM water/meth kit. Trying to find a date that works for me and @moto-mike.

I think 70mm pulley and a cold-air intake will be added too...

I'm hopping for 275whp which looks achievable.

So true. Driving around my neighbourhood at 25-35 mph on a flat surface my car is routinely at 1500-1700 RPMs.

i seem to recall reading that the stg1 users can upgrade to stg2 upon its release for the delta in price. Too lazy to find it right now though.

Me and Evan both have the same clutch + lightweight flywheel. (ACT stage 1 street lightweight kit) <- Prolight flywheel

Also I seem to like to keep my car above 2500 RPMS... I cruise anywhere from 2500-3000 Under 2500 seems like your bogging the engine to much with the charger. + who drives at 2k RPMS with a 7500 redline???? More beneficial to be above 2500. From 2500 + wot there is a noticeable difference.... Compare our graphs to a Vortech car and you will understand.

Also remember the blower is attached to the pulley system so it's a little different then a turbo. Your actually adding more rotational weight for the boost. This gives a weird peddle feel at low RPMS (2-2500) Kinda jumpy but once your above 3k the car screams through the rev range.... My traction control lights up in first around 4500 in a straight line if i'm WOT.

You can look at my dyno comparison to see how the WHP/WTQ come at 3k/4k/5k/6k/7k RPMS. All 3 cars are very different in power delivery due to modifications.

Also remember these are 3 different cars on 3 different days in 3 different temperatures with 3 different set-ups but on the same dyno with the same tuner.

Darren and I will be at PIR dragging our cars on Friday. That should be some fun data!

(if you want more torque get a Perrin Intake / Header back exhaust / Clutch + Light Weight Flywheel. If you want more overall power get meth injection or E85)
