(Focus ST is a great car too, I was super impressed with it, but its no BRZ/FRS)

Time to read up on the "how to register a out of state car in California" links in this thread, thanks for that btw
Funny, I'd be driving a ST also if it wasn't for the BRZ. My local Ford dealer also treated me like a scrub whereas the Subaru dealer treated me like an intelligent person--made a HUGE difference in the purchasing process.

I got my shipment surprisingly fast!! Northern California and it was exactly 7 days when you received the papers. I didn't expect it until the end of that week or early the week after so it was a very nice surprise!

The salesman I had at Ford was actually awesome and I hope to keep in touch with him. He owns an STI and knew all the same local Subaru folks I did. I really wanted to buy a car from him... but Clint is also equally awesome so I dont feel too bad LOL! :P

Another recomendation to go with Clint here. You won't be sorry. They even beat the interest rate I was offered by USAA. I'd do it again no question.

It's simple.

Other dealers (especially their sales manager) wants margin/profit on the BRZ. Heuberger does not view this as the only goal in selling the BRZ.

I bought a rear diffuser from them (I was under no obligation to) because I knew the car was sold to me at a great price. Same with the extended warranty... that's all profitable items for them.

Not just the accessorials, but more importantly the volume and how there's that many more cars you can get that money on.

Allocation is based on past sales. Most dealers get an allocation of just 1 or 2 a month. They might make $3000 gross on that sale though, which is good money.

Heuberger is willing to only make (let's say) $300 on a sale. But they'll get an allocation of 40 units instead of 2. In the end, they make 4 times the gross margin. And then they have 20 times the units they can make finance money on, or warranty money on, or tint or various accessories -- and, as you said, all the buyers are more willing than usual to buy them because they feel like getting an awesome deal on the car.

And, then, on top of that, since all the cars are going out-of-state, they don't have to worry about spending a single dime on long-term customer care. So they have ZERO ongoing costs.

Actually less than that per vehicle when I discount them.

Thanks for telling me this man, but if ever I purchase my car from Clint, I have decided that I will drive it back home. By the time I get back to Cali, break-in period is done!

If I am not mistaken, Clint told me that they have over 40 lenders that could either match or beat what I currently have.

Whoa whoa... Even less than the mentioned $300 by SigmaHyperion?

With all the research I did, I am now convinced that NO DEALERSHIP in California can beat your price Clint. I can now proudly say that you have yourself a BRZ buyer man! Spoke to my fiance yesterday. We both agreed on a better car for me. I will get a 2013 BRZ from you close to the end of the year. Why close to the end of the year you ask? I'm just taking care of priorities first. Also, the 2013 models will be a little cheaper as well!
