Just signed up

Bought my BRZ at the end of April to replace my 2001 Audi S4, chipped and coilovered.

The Audi handled like an aircraft carrier. Quick car with good grip but brutal to get it to change direction.

When driving my BRZ I have to be careful not to sneeze or I could change lanes before my eyes re-open.

I like that.

Isn't that annoying?? Blasted sleep always cutting into what you really wanna be doing!

The B5 S4 is one of the main cars that got me into tuning and modifying cars (that and my beloved 04 WRX). I have many fond memories of that car.. But man what a contrast huh? Twin turbo AWD sedan to NA RWD coupe - you really gotta adjust your driving style completely. You can't rely as much on the torque to power you through the corners.

Anyway congrats to everyone on their new rides! And if you start to get that itch again for some forced induction fun, Vortech makes a really nice kit. There's a lot of horses left on the table too that can be picked up with a tune. Glad to have you guys on board!

Hi fellow BReeZers & soon-to-be's! This is my first post since I got my BRZ -- while I was waiting I put together the Why Buy a BRZ, Best of the Best 60 minute YouTube clip, some of you may have seen it.

I'm about 75% through the break-in period and I am completely knocked out my this car, it's wonderful to drive. Rather than words, here's what I've changed in photos.

Details here if you're interested.

Wow that WR Blue looks awesome! I just got my BRZ in the satin pearl white. I thought it would be cooler when it sits out in the heat and that it might also attract less of the heat when speeding down the road. No mods yet, I thinking I'm gonna stay stock aside from wider tires. Trying to keep my warranty, saving up for a house and all that responsible bull.

Thanks Manilla, white looks great too, and in California it makes a lot of sense. This is a car you can be very happy with "as is." Have fun!

Picked up my GBS BRZ up in NY while I was up around the 17th, drove it back to SC the same day so I pretty much hit the break in miles on the trip which was fun.

Love it so far, sooo hard not to start purchasing stuff for it; need to pay off my 2007 Tundra first so I can free up those payments and sink them into my new toy.

Just placed a deposit on a 2013 LR BRZ Limited 6MT which is supposed to arrive Aug 19th. It'll be awesome to add another LR Subaru to my garage!

Will hopefully have coilovers and wheels on the BRZ by the end of the year!

Here's the other LR Subaru I own:
