did someone on this thread ask for a pic of 10 series with plastidip wheels? I saw a 10 series in front of Valencia Scion, I think it might be an employee car, I will see if I can get a picture next time I'm out that way....

I for one, cannot wait for someone to figure out how to get those extra wires added to the headlights, and to post a tutorial...

anyone else?

In that 2nd thread Moto-P states that there is a Green wire for LED low (12v + 0.5w mode), and a white wire for LED high (12v, 3.3w mode).

And he states that operator of the lights work as follows:
Parking lamp on = Low LED light up.
Headlight on = HID Low beam + Low LED light up.
High beam = HID Low and HIGH should now be lit with bulb relocated by actuator into the proper position inside the projector+ LOW LED lit.
Flasher = HID should power with actuator in high beam mode, and upon releasing the High mode LED also flashes for a split second (latter if the headlight is on)
DRL with all light switches in Off and with car in Reverse or Drive Gears, and parking brake down, engine on = DRL mode LED should be lit with full 5.5w really bright.

You can tell when you see videos of GT86 that they dim compared to during the day. I haven't gotten my 10 Series yet, so I am unable to look at the harness to see if it differs from the Euro/JDM one.

I've been examining em for a while, not sure it's gonna be an easy thing to do. I'm currently exploring options using a LED pulse dimmer and a relay to dim when heads are turned on....

I did. I figure at some point down the road I might either get new wheel or plastidip the existing ones. I'm curious to see what other colored wheels would look like with this paint color.
I see all these really nice paint jobs/colored wheels in the garage section, but they are all the red, black, or white cars (and an orange and blue thrown in there). I wonder if something would look good with our silver.

I've also been debating if the clear side markers would look nicer than the orange ones with the silver.

So after much debate on what to do for and armrest, I decided to take the plunge and install the JDM GT86 armrest. I talked to my dealer with the mounting instructions in hand and convinced them to install it. I ordered it from Shefield Toyota in England and took it in for install today. The dealer charged me $54 to install it, and I am very happy with the result. No regrets at all! Those of you on the fence about drilling into your car, just talk the dealer into installing it. It is my favorite mod yet! Thanks to all the members for providing me info on this armrest and convincing me to install it!

Not going to plasti dip the factory wheels. But as soon as my new ones come in. I'll be playing with some different colors. I know I'm going to try blue, orange, and probably pink (the wife really wants pink. And I honestly think a hot pink would look good with out color. Just not sure if I want to rid around with that everyday)

They put a few on ebay after I bought mine. It is a little pricey, but was worth it to me.

For those interested!

agree that the OEM armrest is awesome except for one FATAL FLAW. When it's open for use of the cup holders, the passenger no longer has an arm rest. They have an awkward hinged upward cover blocking them.

That's true. But "this is a drivers car". Not passengers. Lol

Yeah, the saving grace to that is I usually use the door cup holder for my drinks because the ones in the center bother me when driving anyway. The center cup holder was not an issue of me. I just wanted it for the storage.
