There is no way I would fit my George Costanza wallet in there, but, my ipod and its USB cord fit nicely.

I absolutely love that little slot. It has been the #1 reason my phone has lasted as long as it has! I used to always sit my phone on my lap when i drove, and every day i would stand up and it would fall to the ground--but my phone fits PERFECTLY in that little slot (since it is slightly too big for the little cup holder phone thing i put it there).

Gate remote, Garage Remote and small bottle of hand sanitizer.

Might try the velcro thing that sounds kool and will allow more storage space for my gum which sits in the bottle holder in the door lol. My Nexus 4 gets put in the cupholder slot on the side.

A Blackberry fits it perfectly well, I know for sure - tested how well it fits in the show room car and forgot it there... Gone. Ordered a GT86 a week later anyway

I pulled the rubber pad out, it's only held on with weak double side tape. I taped it to another metal plate then taped that back in the cubby except now it hangs out enough to fit a wide phone.
