So now GM has run out of ideas but to copy BMW's 1 series. This will look like the European's version of 1 series with smaller plant. If the body is heavy, it will fail in performance side.

But, who cares if it drives slow as long as it looks cool.. Make it with a convertible hardtop and it will sell.

+1 It looks very similar to the 1. Competition is a good thing so it's good to see Chevy join the mix! Hopefully this will jumpstart the other Japanese manufactures with more RWD flavors.

i def see the 1er comparison, but if anything at all, to me, this remind more of the original 2002 Turbo. personally, i hope they build the 130R. not nearly as sexy as an FR-S, but more competition none the less.

A concept that will remain a concept... unless it will be in the next transformers movie.

The Code 130R reminds me of a mini suv, it looks too bulky, but the design isn't an eye sore.
The Tru 140S looks like another civic which is an easy pass for me.

Yup, looks like it's too.. idk, tall or something. I like what the AS1 is doing, bringing out competition because other companies know that light, RWD cars that look nice is what we have been wanting.

Strikes me as more of a car for middle class parents to buy their teenage kids than one a youth market actually wants to buy.. because I would not buy that car at 13k let alone 20.

The Dodge Dart is going to own that market with its $15,995 price. Jeez, I still can't believe it's so low.

Unless the kid is smart and wants RWD

it's profile reminds me a lot of a 1-series...low body lines and a greenhouse that pops up out of no where.

Anyway, seems to me, that for the target audience that they are too focused on MPG and not fun. It may have a 150 lb-ft tq curver from a low RPM to redline but we all know that to the public that hp sells a car.

It'll be interested to see the progression of the project. I foresee the FA16DIT in the BRZ/FRS putting this Chevy to bed.

Have to agree.

The Tru 140S looks like it should be MR - it isn't.
The Code 130R looks like it should have an LNF - it doesn't.

I was going to say that...

+ big wheels for some stupid reason!!! Get rid of the big wheels so it can sit lower to the ground and it will look better!
