Skinfn on here runs a real retrofit company (customlightz) so if he's reading this he can provide more detailed info but the S2K are considered the best OEM projectors.

FXR's are great retrofit projectors and they are bixenon, which is the route I'd go for a retrofit probably.
I looked at the S2K's but opted for the TSX based on the blue/purple color you could get with the cutoff. It was 6 or 7 years ago, so I don't remember what the price difference was.

Lol can we stop talking about HID's and not waste like 3 pages so we could find the pics when they are posted @ 3:45pm?

That color shift is the one annoying thing about S2K projectors. Many people love that, it's the one thing I wish I could have changed regarding my S2000's lights. The output pattern and lumens was fantastic, but the stupid cutoff color shift was obnoxious.

Pretty sure Hachi will post them up on page 1 in his initial post. I hear Admins have that kind of power.

I'd agree with this. I don't see HIDs as an actual need and I would buy the car without HIDs if I didn't have an option to get them. Having the option, I would certainly get them though.

I'd almost put HID in the "need" category. After having them on my car versus the regular halogen reflector headlights I never want to go back.

As I posted elsewhere, that's why options are great. Don't slam them, let people get whatever options they want.

Hey I'm all for having them, don't get me wrong. Just getting annoyed with the Up in Arms people posting about HID's and Push-starts. It's just becoming a record player lately.

Actually we still use Twitter. Google+ is good but Twitter is where its at when posting something quick while you are driving in your car.
