True, but say you run 100 normal tires over those tracks then 100 stretched tires over those tracks. It's about probability and physics. You're just pointing out an outlier that isn't representative of the norm.

My buddy stranded in SF a few years back.

Wisdom was gained that day. Since that incident, he's been sticking to boosting his cars.

Blowing out a stretched tire is caused by improper install and/or the type of sidewall used on said tire. Iv hit big bumps going 60+ (yes my frame scrapped) and my tires have yet to blow out.

If you feel you need to be the guy pointing out potential hazards of ppl's setups, well good job, you accomplished that a few pages back. Good for you, caring about the sick and infirm. Srsly. But don't get all preachy when every member of the populace isn't driving very slowly and carefully down the road with 6 foot tall foam bumpers while muttering "public safety public safety public safety."

Last I checked, lift happens when you flip the wing upside down, not turn it around (that more likely causes drag). Nice try.

I know I've been done and left this thread a long time ago. But for some reason people keep wanting me to call them out. Like u... gud job

I found this badass, anatomically pristine pic to halp illustrate.
With air flowing
---->

Wing proper:

Wing backwards

Wing upside down

Which of those look they would be trying to tear themselves off a trunk lid at high speed? They're not airplane wings. They're just shovels.
Anyway I don't know a damn thing about airflow and fluid dynamics and I thought the whole point of a wing was to calm and order the air off the end of the car so it probably doesn't matter. Maybe that last post was a bit much but nagging bugs the shit outta me.

Anyways, demerit for me

I agree, too much hate when I try to inform/share facts. Totally ruins the purpose of a forum.

I think I can talk for alot of people here and say your informing was pointless. No one cares if someone got burnt by his exhaust. It sticks out like a sour thumb and you 100% deserve to wear the dumb ass hat if you get burnt by it.

Thanks for sharing your useful opinion. It really reflects the class you bring to these forums. I think my information is absolutely worth stating.
