Some good looking stealth installs on here. Bings install on Brian's car still looks amazing to me.

@briang0901 How are those held down? Self-tapping screws? and overheating with carpet in?

I believe they reside on a steel amp rack that was fabricated for the install. It's shaped like a rectangle and then bolted town at either end. There's good pics in his build log.

BTW, Simplicity in Sound who did his install just won installer of the year and shop of the year on Mobile Electronics.

that's a beautiful custom job, i've always been a fan of the integrated look. i'm quite fond of your amp mount too

i tried making a fiberglass box for my last car...but like a lot of projects i ended up procrastinating and procrastinating until 2 years later my dad threw away what little i had started. good times

What I mean is how is the quality and clarity of the jl amp?
I'm running a memphis 5 channel ( seen in the pic) but I'm debating on jl to be its replacement when it's time

JL amps are great and are one of the best. I've had a 500/1 that pushed a 10" W7. Never clipped, overheated or anything. Now I have the XD 500/3 pushing my JL 10" TW3 and Hertz 165 HkS and I have no issues with clipping, overheating and everything sounds great.
