Completely agree. I don't care to see another version of this car that I can't have. I have a feeling that the one under the tarp is going to be the white and blue drift car though. Let us see what WE CAN BUY!

Guys, the FRS has to offer some differences between the BRZ. The BRZ won't sell if the FRS offers everything the BRZ has for a cheaper price. That's why their won't be a push start in the dash area and premium leather seats on the Frs.

HIDs, Navi and Bluetooth have been confirmed as standard on the BRZ now.

The Scion won't have HIDs standard and I doubt the BeSpoke as standard, but who knows.

In the other thread "another email from Scion" they describe the nav system

Scion is also pleased to announce that the 2013 Scion FR-S will be
the first model to feature the all new Pioneer BeSpoke connected
infotainment audio system, powered by Zypr. The new BeSpoke system
has cool new features that include locating friends on the map on
your audio screen, reading and sending tweets via voice command,
posting on Facebook, and listening to over 200 internet radio
stations. There are so many advanced functions in this new system and
we can't wait for you to try them out when the FR-S goes on sale this
Spring.
you can read more about zypr (it's a lot like Siri for iPhone) here

That just sounds terrible. There's no reason to be posting on Facebook and Twitter and all that crap while driving. The NTSB is complaining about driving while talking on a cell phone and yet companies keep adding these useless distracting features to vehicles.

That’s true but advertising at a press conference that they did a motor swap for a car that is not even out yet just to put on a turbo kit might hurt them. The key word is “might”. You know some people are going to think.”Hey if I spend 25k-30k on a car and want to boost my car later on, I have to do a motor swap? What the hell” That doesn’t really look good in my eyes. That’s why I hope it’s the FA20 motor with a bolt on turbo kit. Hey even if they rebuild the FA20 motor to handle boost is better than a motor swap. These are my opinions. I guess we have to wait until 3:45pm to find out.

It's actually the opposite. People are going to update facebook and twitter from the road no matter what. This gives them a safe way to do it that is no more distracting than having a conversation with a passenger.

I'm not sure how I didn't notice this before (it's on many other images of the FR-S), and it has probably been talked about/covered, but what is the round hole in the front for? Engine block heater cord convenience?

That radio thing should be an option but not a standard.
