Pm sent

you guys did some pretty good work on my friend's cars. And I've met Jackson, and possibly his brother, I believe. Welcome to the boards.

Jackson left DTM earlier on this year to go open up his own parts store so you will most likely be seeing him on the boards as a vendor as well soon!

@DTMAUTOBODY

First of all, welcome to the forum.

I have taken my vehicle to you for a insurance repair not too long ago. I figured I'd give you guys the business since I've seen many great works done by you through many of my friends who had gotten lots of work from little repair to full on custom work.

Now, back to my car. You guys repaired and replaced my G35 sedan's rear bumper and rear quarter panel a few months ago, but never replaced the bumper stiffener on driver side (to make the rear bumper rigid instead of flapping around) nor have gotten me new mud guards. On top of that, the clear coat had dripped everywhere on the bottom of the rear bumper where you painted that you can clearly see the run offs once you look close from the back.

Someone at the shop called a couple of times in the past to ask for follow ups and I have explained this to the lady who called (the second time when you called since I didn't have time to explain the first time), but I haven't heard anything back from you guys since...

I'd appreciate it if someone from the shop can contact me about this. I'd also like to get my front bumper repainted since the shop that painted last time did a shitty job in matching color.

Thanks,
Alan

What is the point of bumping this thread in the SoCal section? If you're selling a service, shouldn't bump(s) be limited to the classified section?

I'd like to add my experience on here just because...I can haha. I'll make this simple and sweet.

DTM is a pretty awesome place. Clean shop with awesome staff. Everyone there is very friendly and they are quite hospitable. I even got offered ice cream for..breakfast LOL. Anyways, the receptionist is on top of things with follow up calls to make sure you don't forget your appointment, which is great for me because my memory is terrible with grad school and everything going on. Everyone there is knowledgeable with what they are talking about which is quite refreshing. Oh, the pricing is damn good too especially for the superior work they do. If you go out there, you'll see some of the cars they have worked on and let's just say you'll be very impressed.

Leland is a great guy to deal with. He's on top of his stuff and knows what he is talking about and even has some great suggestions if you need some. He is very professional so if you want that kind of service, I highly recommend talking to him.

In terms of the work they did on my car, the paint looks amazing and looks heavenly as Leland had described it ( I'm rockin a whiteout frs). They did a great job with fitment on the vertex kit without any flaws what so ever. these guys are good! Damn good! They definitely take pride in their work. I also had them buff out some scratches in my gt86 headlights due to my own fault of scratching the headlights while struggling to install them on the right side since the perrin oil cooler hoses and the vortech reservoir were in the way. Anyways, scratches out and looks like it never happened lol. *facepalm*

overall:
Pros:
-professional service
-knowledgeable staff
-friendly staff
-great prices
-superior work that's very clean and spot on
-on top of their business
-amazing customer service

Cons:
-if I had any I'd throw them out there since I'm very opinionated about things, but honestly I couldn't find one bad thing about them.

Thanks DTM & Leland!
