The spoiler seems to be sliding a bit too. I can provide picture evidence if needed. But I just want it to look normal again.
I have the same issues with my kit. The 3M adhesive is melting cause of the heat. The screws and push pins is holding my side skirts in place but my spoiler came off.

Did the dealer do it? Sounds like the area wasn't clean enough and they didn't use the adhesion promoter. I installed mine and followed the directions with no issues.

I'm thinking the screws and push pins is what they didn't do.

There should be two screws holding it by the back and two push pins in the front. Plus four underneath

They aren't holding whatever it is.

lol I know what it is, just saying that whoever installed it, did not utilize anything besides the double foam tape.

Hi All,

For anyone who has encountered install issues for their aero kit, please feel free to contact FIVE:AD directly at info@fivead.net. We want to do everything we can to ensure that those who own our products get to enjoy them.

Our aero kit products are designed using OEM CAD data, so the fitment is precise. Any issues revolving around the kit not staying on the vehicle is evidence of an installation problem. Definitely get in-touch with FIVE:AD directly if you have questions.

Thanks!

I contacted them, and while they were nice, they basically said they can't help because I now live 1000 miles away from original dealer installer. I could attempt to pay for my own reinstallation kit and reinstall myself, which I don't think I am good enough to fully do that. But I also don't think I should need to because it was improperly installed the first time. There has to be a plan C where I don't drive 2000 miles round-trip or I have to use my own money to buy a reinstallation kit and attempt to install it myself.

If the issue you have with you kit is installation related, that is not something that FIVE:AD can warranty. But there are solutions, such as the re-install kit.

It is difficult if there is an install issue and the installing dealership is not available to assist in resolving the issue. Keep working with the FIVE:AD team to see what might be possible.

Thanks!

Thanks for the response but it would be less work and hassle for me to just rip it off and go to Walmart and buy my own double sided tape and bolts.

If you do plan on re-installing the kit yourself, it is recommended that you do purchase the FIVE:AD re-install kit. The FIVE:AD re-install kit comes with all hardware including clips, screws, 3M tape, 3M adhesion promoter, templates and instructions. Buying all of these materials on your own could cost around the same or more, and you may not purchase the correct 3M tape (there are numerous kinds).

So if you do plan to do it yourself, definitely get the re-install kit from FIVE:AD to make sure you have all of the necessary and specified hardware.

Thanks!
