Huh. That's honestly something I've never considered. And I suppose I could see myself being spacey enough to do the same with tips barely protruding. But when you've got a chrome 4" pipe rising in front of you, it would be very difficult to forget about. Maybe a small child wouldnt know not to touch it, but I maintain side pipes are way more dangerous. Nonetheless its something to think about.

Those are average people. What about the blind, service dogs, seniors, small children, etc.? D: Meh... who cares about them and the trolling hater (me).

I'm laying relevant facts for people to consider. No need to confuse it as hate/trolling and get offended. No need to escalate it quickly. Since when does keeping it real deserve to be hated on? Since when is it wrong to post relevant facts on a forum? Geez...

Oh, and free bump.

In regards to the pipes it is not different than motorcycle ones being exposed.

Bike pipes are tucked against the body which shields about 180 degrees of accidental run-ins (and center up exhausts are safely tucked way up high under the seat). For the exposed 180 degrees, you'd have to intentionally walk straight into the side of a bike to get burned (same for side exit exhausts on cars) which is rare. Whereas people always intentionally walk past the rear of a car. Getting waaaay OT but I used to ride on an infamous NorCal road that averaged 1 death/week. For an argument about safety, bikes aren't exactly the poster child for safety. D:

To bring it back on topic, bikes are probably more dangerous than Vic's ride haha

out of the thousands of bikes on the road , i think theres a higher chance of people getting burned by a bike than my car that very rarely leaves the driveway. And u were the one talking about blind ppl and children now youre saying "you'd have to walk right into the bike" a blind person can obviously do that and a child wouldnt know not to touch it, now theres a difference? haha your opinions are slightly bias dude 👎

See that's getting to the point I'm trying to make... what if every car started doing that? Not like your car alone is gonna go out and kill everyone since it's just ONE car but does that make you exempt from invading safety measures that everyone else respects? Whether it's one car or a million it's still deliberate disregard for safety. You can frame it as hate all day but the principle holds true. When all the kiddos say "I wanna be like Vic" that's when the papa (aka the hater) steps in to advise.

People are STILL confusing the info/concern I post as "hate." It's nothing personal against Vic or his ride... I'm glad he's being a good sport about my nitpicking and hasn't ignored me. But seriously, people gonna hate on me for spitting info/knowledge? Really? I hope that's not what this forum becomes. *smh, palm thru face*

And I agree... people do get burned from bikes all the time. Law or no law, that doesn't make it ok for your car to burn people!

Just want to point out a difference... the widebodies we see tend to see have a tire contact patch flat against the road and functional with tires not on the edge of unbeading off the rim. I really hope you guys know what difference I'm taking about. @___@

That's a valid opinion. My opinion: Extreme camber/extreme stretch are driving hazards. And it's based on fact. Not sure if I should feel bad for saying that here but I see exactly those things in the OP. Might as well whore out the memes...
