I would spend 1k tops on headlights. Kudos to him that he was able to buy them
I just noticed today how well the five axis spoiler flows with the body line |

Had the 10 series not been available... I would have spent the 2 grand on the headlights... I hate halogen headlights with a passion...

Personally, props to the people who are able to acquire the 10 series parts. I had an asphalt fr-s before I traded it for the 10 series. We are all GT86's but I like knowing that only 2500 of these were built and I'm one of them. Gives me a deeper connection to other 10 series FR-S owners.
To each their own. That's just my thought on the situation. Take it or leave it. |

Got mine today... Told him I did not want a 900.00 radio that would only work with iphone and not get sirius and they said ok. When I got in the car today it had the red/black seats, the dash did not light up and it had the damn bespoke. I thought it was a mistake, but....
found the #/2500 and they did not charge me for the bspoke. In return I felt it only fair to get the extended warranty for 1200.00 Questions... 1 seatbelts? what is special about them. are they plastic for the reg frs??? 2. seats? i thought 10 series were all black. the instrument pannel is all red so it looks good, but the blue knob looks totally out of place. 3. side boards... its just a metal strip which matches my peddles, i dont have the glowing scion as I have seen in a few pictures. 4. I can just look this one up in the book, but does this sucker not lock on own when key is far away? i left key a good distance away and it was still open. if that is case, i hate that it does not honk when you hit lock twice to let ya know. i do love it thou. such a sexi view driving

2) Seats are the same as stock FR-S... The blue knob matches the exrerior badges... I think... I don't have one so I can't compare. 3) Light up scion side boards are not part of the FR-S 10 series, I think it's only for the iQ, tC, and xD 4) No, you need to touch the groves on the door handle and it'll close... |

thanks man.. Yea i know they match that, i just swore I read where the seats were just black. I live in AUburn so wanted a blue or orange FRS. THought the red seats looked bad in either of those colors so was excited to hear about this 10 series. I am happy with it for the silver, just had no idea. and that sucks about the locking. I have to play with that. But... other then that, I am so happy with the car. No buyers remorse here. And insurance was much cheaper then I would have thought. no change from my 2o1o focus

The keyless entry system on my BRZ works just like my old Mitsubishi Outlander SUV so I guess I'm already used to using a similar system but I personally find that the beep confirmations are much more discreet than a loud honking horn. I also am spoiled not having to reach in to my pocket every time to press a button for locking/unlocking, just touch the door handle and I'm good. It also makes locking my keys inside the car virtually non-existent. The only problem I found with my Mitsubishi key FOB (not sure how strong the Subaru's key FOB is as I've only my BRZ for a little while) but if I had my phone in my pocket sometimes the car couldn't find the key FOB and either wouldn't lock/unlock or start the car. No biggy, just a shift of the pocket. Electronic interference I'm guessing. |

Also, check to see if your alarm is activated. Some dealers seem to be activating them, but many came deactivated. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...76#post1067776 |
