Was at a Sunoco recently and heard a customer say to the pump attendant "That's a subaru??", gas attendant says "yea, subaru makes race cars too"

The other day I was in stop and go traffic, a guy driving a pickup with landscaping equipment said, nice car, is it turbo? I replied no, he says really nice car I like it a lot.

A guy at work who I dont know approached me and congratulated me on the purchase and said it's a great car and it looks awesome. He drives an Evo.

It's nice to have a car that nobody has seen or heard of. Reminds me of the early days of owning my S2000

Really cute girl at the pay window at McDonalds asked me how I liked my BRZ. I was surprised she knew it was a BRZ She owns a Scion TC and knew all about the FR-S and BRZ and told me she wants one really bad, but probably not on a McD's salary..

She told me she saw me come through before and loved the color.

We had a guy roll down his window and start a convo about how he loved the car and his next car would be FRS/BRZ ... then handed us his businesscard through the window in moving traffic

Another time, this nice older gentleman FOLLOWED US into our condo's parking structure just to ask what the car was.

Neither time was I the one behind the wheel =___= 0 O 0 ( It's MY CAR DAMMIT!!)

haha not that I'm asking for attention...mostly why I went for the BRZ over the FRS- just a little more subtle...but it is kinda annoying that the attention I get when I'm out is the kind that gets speeding tickets :P
Lol i feel the exact same way, i think its cause we must look like badass mofos and they dont want to mess with us.

I went to a Nissan dealership today because my father recently passed away and I had to fill out forms so that his Pathfinder would be paid off by life insurance. Once I got there one of the sales people approached me and asked if I needed n e help...I told him my situation and he gave his condolences and set me up with the finance lady.... Once i came out of the office I noticed that same guy standing outside my car checking it out haha...he was saying it was an amazing BRZ and that he really likes the car. He had so many questions and I was pretty excited to answer all of them haha...it really brightened up my day

LOL, yesterday I had a Metro transit bus driver in downtown Minneapolis asking me about the car at a stop light... I have had several people ask me about the car the last few days at stop lights, and I am guessing because the weather has been so nice and my windows are down.

The security guard stopped circling the garage in order ask me about the car.
funny bits
him, "does it ride pretty smooth?"
me, "no, it's pretty bumpy"
him, *disappointed look*
me, "it's a sports car."

me, "the transmission is from a Lexus IS"
him, "oh, it's an auto?!"
me, "yeah, the Lexus IS also comes with a manual that's used in this car."

I didn't understand the auto either until the test drive, lol...

Send the redhead my way. Although my like for redheads is fading fast, I've discovered "again" that they are difficult to deal with. Brunettes and Blondes are the way to go.

An old man, maybe in his 50's or 60's came up to me and said "I thought Ferrari's only looked good in red, but this blue is a really nice colour too!" Haha.

This happened quite a while ago, but I only noticed the result within the last week:

I was at the gas station, and a guy pulls up next to me on his Harley and motions to me to roll the window down. He lives right across the street from that gas station, and saw me pull in. Turns out he was interested in getting one of the twins, and was looking for my opinions on mine.

Fast forward a few months later, and I happened to notice that there is now a silver BRZ parked across the street from that same gas station.
