Relocate front plate or not

So my plates just came in the mail and I have a dilemma. The dealer drilled the holes for a front license plate and put a mount on the car, I have since took it off but there are some unsightly holes left behind.

With that said I am trying to decide if it is worth it to relocate the plate to the tow hook or keep it central. Also if I do move it I was thinking about buying some carbon fiber vinyl to cover the middle section of the mustache on my brz, any other better ways to get rid of the holes?

Thanks,
Brandon

Your car. You should do what you want. Me personally I'm running with out the front.

Since the holes are already drilled, just stick it in the middle. No point in relocating it and spending more at this point...

Sucks. Get an aftermarket bumper or leave the front mount.

i might have this issue too, i have a brz coming in next week and from the looks of the pictures on the site it seems as if there are drilled holes with a bracket. I live in florida and there is no need for a front plate anyway. Does the black piece on the bumper come off?

not sure how easy it would be to remove the black piece. I'll take a look when I alter mine I'm going to go with a tow hook relocation and run a strip of carbon fiber mock vinyl down the middle of my front to cover the holes to add my own style. I just can't get myself to like how a central front license plate looks

The license plate bracket wasn't installed on my BRZ. The dealership put it in the trunk until I got my plates. If you decide to go with an alternate mounting location you may be fine without the holes.

Man I wish my dealer gave me that courtesy...They mounted the bracket and didn't even give me the screws to put a front license plate on.

I personally prefer the license plate to be in the middle, especially with holes already in place for them. If you passionately prefer something else, then I say do this instead and put a mesh grille or equivalent to protect your radiator...

Haaaiiiiiii!

That is exactly what I did. I got a call saying that they were taking my car off of the truck. I said thanks, and hung up. About 10 seconds later I called back and told them that I DID NOT, under any circumstance, want the bumper drilled for the front plate.

I have the plate mount and the hardware in the backseat to this day. I'm planning on going with the magnet route in the DIY section.

Someone here did a front license plate delete but I forget.... It wasn't Luke, was it? He had a black BRZ, I think... I thought it looked good.

I also asked my dealer not to drill or install the front plate. I have mounted mine offset with the Perrin mount, ensuring I will have plenty of air rushing over the assortment of cooling equipment behind the grill. Yes, the center mounted plate looks good but is not the most practical for cooling purposes.

No it does not. The entire bumper (black section and painted area) are all one piece.
