Keep us posted on the flex fuel kit. I am interested in this option but am going to wait it out as seeing I just ordered a ton of stuff for the car.

Need some advice! I bought my FRS with TRD exhaust installed. I added the injen CAI and Unichip to it. The Unichip was mapped to both intake and exhaust. I had Vivid Racing do the install on the Unichip with hopes that it would help achieve maximum HP out of the intake and exhaust.

After putting 200 miles on the combo, I had some rpm drops at the stop light which almost stalled the car. By the time I got home, the check engine light and traction control light were on.

I have read some past threads on people having the same issues with stock cars. Check engine light and traction light comes on after rpm idle dive at a stop light. This problem was traced back to needing the ECU reset.

All of the aftermarket goodies were installed without thinking I would have any issues and without thinking about my warranty. I'm sick to my stomach thinking that I might have voided the warranty and don't no where to start. Do I take it to the dealer for troubleshooting, back over to Vivid, or ????

Ah yes, I could almost put it on the intake. I have the same one and had the same issue. I pulled it off and went back to stock. After about three months I put it back on and the problem seemed to stop. My car still has drops but it hasn't killed the car. Definitely find out what the ode says. Vivid should help you with that.

Just meet one of us that has a obd reader to find what code it is first. It could just be the fuel cap. You didn't void your warranty. If it does need to be brought in for service everything can be returned to stock. I had my ecu issue before with idle dips and I had an exhaust in at the time.

I know I have a pretty busy schedule and cannot meet every week but if someone wants to take the lead in setting up a weekly meet up, that would be awesome.
So Tucson peeps how bout we do Dante's Fire on Thursday? Say 5:30 or 6:00? Im not much of a drinker but happy hour apps and fellow twin owners sound good to me. Give me a head count so i dont show up and end up alone. We can keep moving it until we all like and agree on a place.
