Not having a front grille that looks like Ned Flanders is worth a couple thousand on its own.

So I told a random break-in road trip last night to Hampton Virginia, about 140 miles one way from where I live; visited some friends, took them for a spin or two.

Made a few observations; this car is low, like a Prius looks like a Suburban from where I sit; this car is loud, more tire/road noise than I was expecting; the placement of the tach makes me feel like I'm driving a race car; I LOVE LOVE LOVE this car's stock intake growl, and this car LOVES to be rev matched on downshifts; the rear end is quite active and is gonna take some getting used to coming from an 01' Ford Focus; the interior is tiny; and a Biblical downpour does not phase this car, but with no wheel well lines its ridiculously loud inside.

I filled up at 271 miles on the odo with Shell 93 v power gas; when I got home from my trip I had 398 miles on the car and two surprises, I averaged 27.4 MPG and the "crickets" showed up, ugh.

Overall I am over joyed with the car and look forward to many more fun miles.

Not having a Scion emblem is worth a million (joking) Jokes aside, besides the price point, it's a great looking car

ONLY thing BRZ Limited has on FRS 10 is leather seats. Otherwise...

+ FRS 10 has GT 86 daytime running LED headlights
+ numbered badge
+ carbon fiber dash w/electroluminescent panel
+ light up badges
+ frameless rearview mirror
+ (a/t) solor power light up shift knob
+ sc10n custom mats
+ ignition silver paint

$29k is MORE than fair

True, but Subaru OEM NAVI is terrible. My 2011 WRX Limited was so out of date when I purchased it and updates are more expensive than an aftermarket NAVI.

I passed on the aHa NAVI for that reason. You want a good NAVI unit, get a Garmin.

And heated seats (a must here when it is 20-30 below). BRZ Limited's are going for low $27's here in Minneapolis and Huebarger Subaru in Colorado (who is very active here) sells for even less and will ship the car for a fair price.

I really dig the Scion 10 series. If I was going to buy an FR-S this would be the one for sure.

Spoiler, Fogs, Soft touch dash, heated seats, leather, projectors, boomarang halos/drl, nav. As long as you like your car, it's all good. But don't tell me that leather is the only thing the frs lacks. If you want to have all these things, it'll easily be another 2k+ in aftermarket parts.

The FR-S has a soft touch dash too.....so heated leather seats and standard nav are the only 2 places a BRZ limited out do our 10 Series cars.

Also lets not turn this into a Subaru Vs, Scion thread.

Oh, didn't know it had soft touch, but it's not the only thing it doesn't have. I like the frs, this isn't an argument, I'm just saying the price Scion is making people pay is pretty high.

It's more of a getting people to realize FRS 10 is not just an "over priced FRS"
