Yes, a lot of peeps are getting Tapturn flasher for this problem, and enjoy the added convenience signaling as well.

Vendor on this forum, check commercial classified threads search 'tapturn' and just click on links in this sig to get on with ordering it.

Made in Canada.

Canadians can use Interac e-transfer, saves a few bucks over using PayPal, but that's an option too.

All Canadians get tracking postal service.

This! I got this and can vouch. I was actually the one who created the first thread on these forums looking for this exact product an the Tap Turn works great and solves this problem, plus adds the turn signal functionality in modern cars not made by Toyota.

Put my order in tonight!
Thorlius how hard was it to swap out? And is it possible to do without pulling panels?

Very easy, 5 minutes, no panel removing. You just have to crawl under the steering column, find the existing flasher (by sound, and if you have a flashlight that'll help also), pull it out and replace it with the new one.

Recommended garage?

Hey guys - so I've got a list of things that I want to do over the next few months but I'm not sure where to get it done...Definitely don't want to go back to the dealer (no doubt that's the most costly) and I've heard bad things about dealer technicians (don't care about your car, etc.)...

Any recommendations on where to take it? I'm thinking mostly cosmetic mods ATM (re-badging, tail lights, a few interior things, clear bra, etc.)
I'm downtown Kitchener but I work in Guelph so anywhere close to these areas is good with me.

Thanks for the help

If it's just cosmetic mods then I'd recommend doing it yourself, save some coin and have that smug sense of self satisfaction. If you don't feel confident then come on out to a meet and ask for help. Most of us will work for beer.

I agree and appreciate the offer! For most things cosmetic (rebadge, tail lights, etc) I'll definitely attempt it myself but there are a few things that I definitely want done professionally just so I know it was done right and will last (like the clear bra)

If any of you have a "go-to" garage I'd love to hear about them
