(I'm still new here, how do I post pictures?)
Upload to a free site like Photobucket.com and then paste/copy the link they provide into the "Insert Image" icon here.

What happened to the glow in the dark shifter? From all the pictures it looks like none of the cars have it.

Only Automatic transmissions came with it. And even when they did, they came with both the stock shifter (in glovebox) and solar shift knob so some people may be opting for the stock.

Only A/T cars came with it... I don't like having light up stuff in my car when driving at night anyway

Speaking if glow in the dark, has anyone else noticed that the badge glows in the dark too? I was wondering what was up with the greenish hue it had.

BRZ Limited was more expensive where I live. Closest Subaru dealership is 2 hours away, so would have to travel to purchase and do maintenance work.

It also comes down to personal choice, I like the GT86 /w headlights better than the BRZ mouthgard /w boomerang.

I think the "riced lights" are interesting and neat. They don't stay on all the time like most people assume. They hate before even doing research. And if they were "rice" why is Mercedes going to be putting it on their new vehicles.

Yeah it is that fluorescent glow in the dark material that you had with stickers/toys in the 90s that glows after being exposed to light. To bad it has the green fluorescent color.

I have the AT, and I still haven't swapped out the 10 Series shift knob. I've only ever turned on the light a few times, but I actually like the feel of it. My only minor gripe is that the plastic top (the clear part covering the solar panels) isn't tight and solid enough. It has a little tiny bit of play (fraction of a mm).

The shape works well for the AT, however. I drive in manual mode 95% of the time (only putting it in automatic for bad bumper-to-bumper traffic), and use the shift knob more than the paddles on the street. The paddles are best suited for freeway driving. In manual mode, you only move the knob forward and rearward, so the shape lends itself to that motion well as opposed to a ball design.
