It can also log boost, AFR, and RPM. That is what I used to produce my boost/afr plots. Have you pulled data off the gauge yet?

Doesn't look like the gauge was logging. When I plugged it in there was no log to pull. I'll need to play around with it to see if I can get it to start.

It should be logging the last 3 hours of your car running. Then when you open it up in the AEM viewer it will show a seperate segment for each time your car was running. It takes about 5 minutes to download the entire 3 hours of data.

It's getting checked out now. Exhaust was fine, but they're thinking there may be a defect with the turbo itself causing it to operate too far out of its efficiency range.

No reason for the power loss found. They suspect there may be some tolerance issues with the turbo, but there's no other symptoms that would support that (increased IATs, etc.)
I brought up the lower mass airflow. My tuner stated that you can't rely on that number when comparing one tune to another due to the way a specific tuner modifies the maps. He advised to use MAF voltage, which was 4.4 at WOT. LJ at fullblown indicates he sees 4.5 at 10 psi. Smoke test was fine, boost leak test was fine, back pressure test on the exhaust was fine. I've got no idea. |

That's no fun. I hope you get it worked out soon. It'll be worth it in the end.

Appreciate it... I haven't a clue what could be wrong. Everything seems to be in order aside from the dyno.

out of curiosity, have you thrown some logs through virtual dyno?

Take a look here -> http://www.virtualdyno.net/
basically, go make a pull. from 2 or 3k-redline in 3rd or 4th gear, datalog it, toss it in this program (after telling it what kind of car you have, passenger weight, etc) and it will give you a pretty consistent "virtual" dyno. The numbers may not match up to chassis dynos perfectly, but i've found them to be pretty damn close. The results are also pretty repeatable (given the same temperature, road, fuel level, etc). The numbers won't mean a ton to anyone else as their road conditions (incline, elevation etc) will all vary from user to user, but as long your numbers are repeatable for you it can be a good tool in comparing the car after a change has been applied to help confirm the good old butt dyno. |

I figured out my problem; my car is so powerful the dyno just can't accurately read it. I'll tinker around with it
