Several people imported the JDM lights or the euro spec ones that amounted to be around $3000, so I feel that $1500 will still sell well and be an affordable to most that have the desire to upgrade. I'm not disagreeing with you at all, I would like to see lights made for a lower price point as well.

No need to speculate any further on my end, it's up to the manufacturer and we'll have the choice whether or not to purchase.

This picture is just for reference. These are not necessarily the same projectors that the new lights will use.

They are also low/high beam in one projector though.

The picture's clarity was turned in an attempt to distinguish any hot spots.

And factoring in a motor and such for Highbeams this is a REALISTIC price

I think they can't do a replica because toyota would sue the hell out of them.

I agree with all those who say, black housing, no halos, nothing on the bottom, and white LED's up top. Make them look like the GT86 ones and you will have a TON of customers. Let them modify them if they want all the extra unnecessary junk. I want an OEM look. Better yet, integrate the turn signal into the space where the high beams are like the BRZ. I would gladly rid myself of the hidious stock ones! It is the ONLY thing I don't like about the FRS....those damn turn signals.

Your sadly mistaken...have you heard of DEPO lights or any aftermarket manufacturer of car parts at all?

True, OEM look with class. Not the unnecessary junk that looks as messy as a christmas tree. it probably caters for the same guys that like those bloody neons and multicoloured lighting through out the car.

But, no switchbacks for the top LEDs so exactly like GT86 except the DRL switch to yellow when indicators on?

Personally I say maybe offer a "Base Light" and then give the option of adding say Halos or certain other items.

Flat Black housing, clear lens, lower DRL strip, upper led signal, no halo please, and can you make the lights a solid strip instead of individual LEDs? Like the taillights? Thats the going thing now. The individual LED DRLs fad has kinda come and gone.

Motor? The one time i did a hi low retro fit sorta like this, the projector has a little servo in it that basically just blocks off the top part of the light spread(when low beams are on) then when the high beams are on, the light block thing(for lack of a better term) moves so that you get the full power of the bulb. Somebody correct me if i'm wrong, but its really not an expensive setup.

Nigel has actual GT86 lights for $2300 for the pair, we all know genuine OEM parts are WAAAAY more expensive then they really should be. I'm drawing the line at $1000 for the set...fingers crossed
