I just tried to place an order for both items and was told that TMS put a stop on sale of both. Hope is not a permanent stop.

Sorry to bust any bubbles, but the TRD lowering springs part numbers have been released for almost a year now. They have been on the 2013 TRD online catalog since it was released back in late 2012.

From looking at pictures of the commercial FR-S's using prototype springs (FR-S First Drive Event and TV ad) I am pretty sure the drop will be less than an inch, mostly due to the lack of camber adjustment on the vehicle.

Here's the thread with the part numbers. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18091

So, the real question is...

How will the TRD Lowering Springs looked installed on a bone stock, 17" wheels, FRS/BRZ? What will the ride be like, etc.

Even at ~$300 I am not sold. RCE looks to have done their homework and I may go with a package of theirs instead.

At the frs ride and drive event the cars were running these with I think 17 enkei wheels. From what I recall it was a subtle drop but noticeable.

can someone else who attended confirm my comments?
