sigh.

the 370Z will be the car to have on any course with slow corners followed
by an acceleration zone.

I guess it really just depends if they can put power down or not.

The new Street classes have the 12-month window to move cars quickly, I think if results show the 370Z is going to be completely dominant, they will just move it to BS. Trouble is hardly anyone runs them so there may not be many results. Is Dan planning on running his 370Z on street tires?

Dan is not planning to run street tires mainly because of the limited sizes currently available.
but i suspect more sizes will be made in the next two years which might
change his mind (if he still has the car). if the new sizes come after the
1 year window then it will be difficult to fix the class.

re: putting power down, see Brian Peters at the Lincoln Tour where he
won STR in a 350Z. not an apples to apples comparison but it shows
that the street tires are not that bad.

I think CS is the perfect class for the car. More competition.

I think CS will be a good fit for it. I think everyone who autocrosses one of these cars should be pretty happy right now. The SEB has definitely shown that they are interested in making sure the car is in a class it can be competitive in.
