It got extremely cold since it's solid steel(actually installed it with ice on the car). I put a coat of spray on bed liner first. With three coats of thin rubber it is fairly insulated now.

Lol, Flossy ripped me off. I paid them in May for a shift knob. It's a color they had but didn't offer on their site.

When it came in after a few weeks, it didn't have space for the reverse lockout. Plus there were a lot of imperfections to it. I contacted them right away and sent pics. They apologized and said give them a week and I would get a new one.

Waited a month so to not be a bother then emailed them back. No response. After at least 5 emails with no response, I have a crazy colored paper weight in a shape of a shift knob.

So unprofessional. Lost over $100. I'm gonna go back to WC Lathewerks for a second knob after awhile.

Looking to go that route (but in Red!)..glad to see it sits low and looks good.

Did you need to get any reverse lockout stuff, or just screw it on?

I wanted red, but I also wanted it to look like it came like this from the factory, so I opted for the black. He will give you a nut to center it. Without that nut, mine was actually facing the other way.

I had an issue with the nut spinning when I was screwing the knob off, so I stuck some electricle tape on the side of that nut just to hold it in place and once you get it tight, it stays put perfectly! Pulled the tape and all is good to go.

He really isn't kidding when he mentions that it will shift like butter with the heavyweight. I didn't believe it to be completely honest, but now that it's on, it really is night and day. I waited too long to do this. It's a good, simple mod.

I have the stock FR-S knob because it's the only one I like. Boring, I know.

PERFECT!

That was exactly what I was looking for tbh haha. I wish I could 'thank you' but it doesn't seem like it'll let me juuuuust yet. Bought it and now all I am waiting for is the car to come in!
