Ok so I know people are interested in a weekend meet or cruise or something on the weekends. Created the thread as an area to talk about what people would like to do.

How was the meet on June 23, 2013? Is it worth it to try and pick another cruise? Maybe a different location/roads?

Also attached is a poll for what day would work better as well as approximate times choose a couple if it pleases you, so lets see if we can get a monthly weekend meet set up like the weekday meet.

The cruise was fun from the get together stand point but the drive was a bit congested and tough to cut loose much. I think we are still looking for the ideal route.

On to the poll, my weekends are all over the place between the GF and on call. It will always be case by case for me.

I think trying to find a good route in the DFW area is going to be next to impossible. I am trying to find a good driving area a bit west of Fort Worth. I'm thinkng something along the lines of starting at Lake Granbury and ending as Possum Kingdom Lake. I've already mapped out a route but want to make the drive first before committing to it.

Something like this. If this were an essay I'd call it a rough draft. Probably needs some fine tuning.

I think around the mansfield area is good spots for driving ill have to check them out though somebody suggested it to me

the route from dustin is a known route by motorcyclist and other drivers that drive alot out in the country in which it has been rated as a good route.

Is it? Cool!! I just kinda google mapped a route from Lake Granbury to Possum Kingdom Lake and then moved the lines around a little to hit up some back roads. I still need to make the drive though to confirm if it is a good route or not.

I know this is coming up right after the 86 weekend drive, but cupcake meet is happening on 8/10 in Corpus. I know I'm heading down for it.

Actually we haven't even talked about a date yet so that is up for debate once we get set on a vote for the time. Was hoping to get a few more votes before its decided but so far Saturday evening is winning.

Ok giving this till Monday July 29th and then based on the poll results the time on the weekends will be set. Right now we have a 3 way Tie between Saturday noonish or evening or sunday noonish.

Lets get some ideas for a place to meet in the DFW area. Should this meet be held in Fort Worth or close to it? Or should it be in Dallas or close to it? Should it be smack dab in the middle of the 2 cities? Give me some of your ideas for the next poll for location that will come after the current poll is over.
