I think we kinda all knew Greddy and other companies were going to make Turbo kits. Thing is, when and how soon? We know now, that we have to wait to see how the AS1 does money wise in the first place.

The number 1 thing I want out of my AS1, is a rumble sounding exhaust with equal headers, if that's even possible. If not, I'll sacrifice the few HP for that rumble and put un-equal headers. If possible.

I think I prefer the route of not having the rumble boxer sound. It just so attached to the WRX/STI that hearing it come from the FR-S just doesn't sound right to me. I think I will want the current note + boost.

Unpossible. The UEL is directly responsible for the rumble, no UEL = no rumble.

Don't get me wrong, I love this exhaust note, I really do. It just doesn't seem as aggressive as the Scoobie. But, maybe I'm just getting spoiled for the price range

It hasn't really bothered me in the past 4 years. But then my exhaust is stock, so I can barely hear it anyway.

I never liked the boxer rumble since it sounds like it's misfiring and gurgling. Glad the FR-S and BRZ don't have the boxer rumble.

Just over 17 years of modified rumble here. I could put equal length headers on my daily, but I prefer it feel and sound like a Subaru than a sewing machine.

There are some tricks that enable you to keep them quiet and eliminate all drone, but still enjoy that intoxicating deep rumble.

All that said, my BRZ will likely sound like a sewing machine as it will foresake character for performance.

Usually, but hey! you could be one of those people who like the louder boxer rumble. Im just saying most people..not all..usually like the loud boxer rumble at first..then get kind sick of it after awhile.

people with unmodded cars though don't get bothered by the rumble.
