I'm delaying ALL non-flex fuel ethanol tunes.

I've sent out a few but making sure people are good before I send out 40 Rom's only to resend them out again when I have a update

Glad to hear that you're focusing on the FlexFuel tunes. Does this mean that you're working on yet another update for us?

Umm

I'm happy with the flex fuel tunes until someone sends me a datalog with something funny or complains about something ... A lot of that calibration comes from my base ethanol tune. Since I'm getting slammed with flex fuel data I figure I would work on that and if that's good it can go into my other ethanol maps.

I'm headed to Ohio tomorrow to work on several important things, including a new RaceRom update that will be part of everyone's tune if it works well

I support a lot of people, just trying to prevent extra work

John

I'm in Ohio, but I assume that you're heading to Toledo to visit Accelerated performance and I'm in Cincinnati. If you're going to be in town for a few days, I might be able to make the drive up there though.

Cool, I have a GTR driving from Cincinnati tomorrow morning to meet me.

What's going on with you?

Just want to say hi?

I'd like to do a few dyno runs, say hello, and shake your hand.

@Visconti or rich. Was the airaide intake tune created with the snorkel or without like the manufacturer recommends?

I should have my replacement dongle today. Was the longest express delivery of my life. Guaranteed by July 12 at noon from USPS and still dont have it. Go USPS!

@Visconti Is it possible to have the traction control switched off with a map? For example have it on like normal unless you're in map 4 then the tc switches off when you select that map?

I always switch mine off on map 4 anyways, seems like it would be easy to eliminate a step. Just a thought.

@Visconti and fellow V Tuned members.
Are we allowed to share mods vs gains with our various tunes in this thread?
I'm trying to establish where I am regarding my gains for the mods and if there is something I can do to get further gains based on what I have achieved with the Stg2 tune so far.

It'd be kind of pointless unless everyone was on the same dyno at, roughly, the same time. There are too many variables. From what i understand, full exhaust system + CAI + a good tune should get you right around 200hp on a good day......Actual results may vary.

I understand the variable factors, but as you point out with the mods mentioned some have got anywhere from 185whp up to 200whp
I have header, performance resonated exhaust, DIF, zeta intake, stg2 and only achieving 175whp and 196nm.
I know the header and exhaust I can't change to get too much more gains, however would a CAI work or anything else you guys in US have found to give any further improvements.
