Hi,
Name is Des, from Hawaii. Really appreciate a lot of the info I've read on this site. Had a 89 4AGZE 2. Wish I still have it, but not anymore since I found out about this ride. As far as which make I would go for, my pick would be the FR-S. |

Hi everyone, I'm Kevin from France.
I fell in love with the initial FT86 concept and I'm glad to see that's the caracteristic of the final GT86 version correspond to what I'm aiming as lightweight, high RPM oriented motor and also driving feelings, which is very important for me. Indeed I only bought very light cars that we call GTI in Europe, but all of them are FWD. As the AE86 is almost impossible to find in my country, maybe could I get the pleasure to own its straight daughter ! |

Hello all. I'm a long time sport-compact enthusiast, having owned three Miata's, an S2000, and my current daily driver, a 2008 Honda Civic SI Sedan. I never thought a four door car would inhabit my side of the garage, but our family grew by one in 2008, and the extra set of doors came in handy when getting our daughter in and out of her car seat. Now that she's homing in on five years old and can buckle herself in, I can see a two door in my not too distant future. I have not been as excited about a new car as I am about the Scion/Subaru. From what we know at this point, it has everything I want in a sporty, practical, RWD daily driver. I really dig the Ralley Blue color on the BRZ (my 2006 Miata was a similar blue), but I'm going to wait and see how the pricing structure of Scion vs. Subaru plays out. If the Subie Premium version is not too much more than the Scion, I'd be willing to shell out a little extra coin to see that beautiful blue in the garage every morning.
I look forward to sharing the experience of learning about this car as we head to release in the spring. It's a really exciting time. Mike Smith Alpharetta, GA |

Hello all. Finally had to sign up. My name is Jeremy and I'm from NY. Very excited about this car. It could be the first new car I'll ever purchase. However, I have to wait a few years to make sure all bugs are ironed out. Also, we need to see if Toyota/Subaru will actually release a forced induction version. I current daily drive a 2004 G35 Coupe and my weekend fun car is a 1997 Supra TT (single turbo, standalone, etc). Definitely not getting rid of the Supra for this car, but I can see parting with the G. LOL. I've owned several fun dailies in the past including an RB25 S13, and a Neon SRT-4. I really need to see this in person to determine if owning a small coupe will suffice... Used IS-Fs are getting cheaper and I may end up getting that for practicality sake! Anyways, glad to be here!

Hi all, Grant from Brisbane, AUS. Will defintely be getting one of these this year, but still haven't decided on the Eight-six or the BRZ. I am waiting for them to get to Aust mainly just to see what options are available and the price tag before I decide which one to get. I think both are great though. It's going to be a long 6 months.

Well i never really did one of these but have been here for a bit. Name is Chris but my friends just call me Noobie, they have a hard time saying my last name, which is Neubauer(new bower). For all you true German's out there i know I'm pronouncing it wrong but that's the we my family pronounces it. I'm 22 and live in Tucson Arizona. Buying either a FRS or BRZ for a new dd till the warranty runs out.I plan on turning my 2007 Saturn ion into a canyon carver till then.

Hello fellow enthusiasts been looking at this forum for like a year now figured I might as well join after all I find myself taking about it occasionally on motorcycle forums. Ever since the FT-86 showed its face 3 years ago it sounded like just the right car for me to get. I can't wait to take the production vehicle out for a test drive, and hopefully it will stay in a good price range to be my first new car. I've been wanting a sporty enthusiast compact car for years and this seems like the best deal for the price. Its great seeing toyota (finally getting back in the game) and subaru supporting the car and even making the car very open to the aftermarket in a time when so many companies are throwing out dull soulless cars. Thanks for having me!

Hello everyone! I am a 23-year-old Jersey girl car enthusiast. All I gotta say is never judge a book by it's cover! I eat, breathe and live the auto industry every day of my life, and I LOVE it. My work, hobbies and dreams involves cars, aftermarket performance parts and people like you
I am VERY excited for both the FRS and BRZ. I currently own a 07 Scion tC (nothing special just a daily driver with a few mods) and also have a very clean '89 Mustang GT which I have been slowly bringing back to life. I am a big fox body lover but as time passed I realize how much work and extra cash is involved with owning an older vehicle. I have transferred over to more of the import scene over the past year and have fallen in love all over again, though I will always prefer American muscle Anyway, once I am done paying off my tC I am totally trying to get the new FRS or BRZ once the time is ready. I can't wait to see what the future will bring! I dream and droll of my future black FR-S with blacked-out window tint and shiny wide rims..hmmh <333...Thanks for reading!

Hello. Just joined. I've been waiting for this car since when it was first announced years ago. I've gotten two cars since then. Now, it finally will be here a several months from now. I'm so excited.
