CJ,
Lens filter or some special effect in those pictures? Neat looking effect or whatever it is.

Looks like an HDR photo to me. Basically you take 3 photos in a row. One under-exposed, one normal, one over-exposed. You then use something like Photoshop to combine the 3. It results in a photo that captures a wider spectrum of light.

I used that do accentuate or show the edges as the original photo doesn't show the gap that well. EDIT: The app actually creates an HDR photo, it's not a filter. |

COOL, looks neat
** Guys I searched an hour at least** I recall something to the effect when installing the Eibach 1" Pro lowering spring kit, something about a certain procedure to not spin the strut etc///, something due to leaking, can someone pick up on what I read and clarify for me please? Burnt out my eyes searching for this scattered comment on the install... Last edited by OICU812; 04-17-2013 at 06:12 AM. |

Hmm i really wanna lower my car, and this kit looks perfect
I am concern tho, i have 18'' wheels with 235's not sure how the car would react to it. How is the ride? any stiffer than stock? can you feel a can of soda in the road? lol |

hmm i guess i got used to my 2011 sti with eibach lowering springs and sway bars, i felt everything on that thing, after i got the brz it felt normal to me. I guess my question is how much stiffer is from stock, about 5%? 10% or about the same |

It's almost unnoticeable until you encounter dips, railroad tracks etc.
I have a highway that has one of those bouncy undulations and that's more pronounced. Kinda difficult for me to put it to a percentage but if I had to pull a number out of my butt, (which is what I feel like I'm doing) I'd say 10% under most conditions and 25-30 under where you experience dips and bumps that bring the struts closer to their full compression. |

Bringing up the dead, but didn't want to start a new thread.
Does anyone know where I can buy replacement bump stops and dust covers? I bought a used set and it only came with the springs, nothing else |

I called and they don't carry the parts there.
I could cut the stock bump stops and I'm sure I can reuse the stock dust boot too, but I'd rather get a complete set I guess. I think I had a change of heart on which springs I want anyway |

Not sure who you talked to, but I just talked to them and they have the parts in stock. If you have the original box, they can determine if this was one of those cases where they were not included. (This did occur during the beginning) If that is the case they will send them, otherwise they can sell them to you. 1-800-507-2338 |

"These springs aren't harsh. Road feel is improved, but I don't cringe when I see a ripple, pothole or driveway. The car has a tendency to bounce just a bit more under aggressive driving on extremely rough surfaces, though, and I would definitely recommend upgrading the dampers (shocks) as a complimentary modification if you plan to take driving seriously. Around town you could easily live with the stock shocks (until they die, possibly)
I would recommend these springs for the BRZ/FR-S owner who simply wants to remove the 4WD look of the car without resorting to any extreme measures. The Eibach brand is an industry staple and customer satisfaction is high. This is a safe bet at a good price." Have a question, My FRS is my DD I will not be tracking or anything just cruising around town/ road trips, Simply looking for a slight drop. Will these springs be ok for long term use (50k-60k miles) while running on OEM Shocks and struts? If these springs will wreck havoc on my suspension after a few thousand miles I would rather just drop the 1k + on coils. Also whats your guys take on warranty voiding with after-market springs? Thanks if advance.
