The problem from what I've been reading seems to be fuel pump internal materials causing the chirping. So since I have a build date of May 2013, hopefully all the minor issues from last year have been addressed.

So far, I've got around 530kms on the car and it's running smoother than ever!

Do you guys get a weird noise when doing 1st gear take offs? A chatty type of clutch sound? I'm sure it's normal and is probably related to the D4-S injection system doing its thing. I also get it when I lugging off in low rpm 3rd gear (like having to slow down for those pesky speed pumps, then speeding back up all while in 3rd gear).

I haven't see any another FRS/BRZ other than mine so I have nothing to compare to.

I would love to meet up with other owners. Saw a SICK black FRS lowered on some 18" mesh type wheels today at the back of the Wal-Mart parking lot at Fairview Mall. I did a circle around it in my FRS to check it out then took off. Whoever owns that car... NICE CAR!

I wouldnt count on the build date, mine was also built after the fix was supposed to be in production and I'm currently waiting on a new fuel pump. I didn't really notice the crickets until about 3k where it went from no noise to WTF in about a day (only petro 94 and American shell 93 since day 1).

Yeah can't miss it they've built up like crazy down there. AVX theatre has the ability to book your seats Jo and I usually sit row M center if you haven't experienced it yet you gotta try it better seats sound and screen!

Is there a place teaching how to drive a sports car and offering practice ground for new sports car drivers? Preferable not too far away from KW.
If I commit a fr-s, I would like to use it as intended, mildly not crazily, in such a place.

Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga is probably your best bet. It's not all that far and has Advanced Driver Training most Mondays as a full day course. I'm planning on doing one when I can.

Ashley and I have seats M10/11. We are good to do pre or post. if its pre I'm thinking we should go like 6-615. Afterwords we are looking about 10pm.
