I must say, even though I am going forced induction, I really like the look of that header.

I wish I could use it! I have to retain cat, sadly. Been eyeballing pretty much any option that lets me keep the front one, even if the back one's going to end up in the bin.

The TRD intake comes with a new MAF?

Have you seen my build thread/dyno sheets?

still, that plot looks pretty nice. Especially since you're using 92 octane.

Forgive me, but I'm about to go full-noob here.

So would it be possible for the shop that tuned this car to email this map to an individual that owned this exact setup and the individual be able to load it themselves using an EcuTek Programming Kit?

I'm not asking to do it, I don't even own a Toyobaru, much less have these exact mods. I'm just trying to learn what's possible. Tuning is still a very mysterious realm to me.

i'm new to tuning as well, but I think I can answer this. simple answer: yes. more complicated answer: yes, but because every motor/car is different in little ways, it might not be the most efficient tune that it could have.

An actual tuner could answer that question much better than I just tried to. hell, someone who understands tuning could explain it better. lol

Yeah, I know it wouldn't be perfect. I know tuning gets crazy when you factor in each little mod, octane, sea level, humidity, exchange rates, water table, APR, eyeglass Rx, etc. etc. etc.

But it seems like if it is possible to just up and send a tune like this as a file across teh internets, then doing this would be better for someone with this exact setup to do rather than run this exact setup minus any tune at all.
